Over time, most streets and pedestrian zones have become cluttered with all sorts of elements that don’t belong together at all: street furniture, billboards, lampposts, and so on. This makes public spaces look untidy, chaotic, and unwelcoming. FreeStreet does away with traditional streetlights along streets, replacing them with a series of LEDs suspended from thin cables that are barely visible during the day.FreeStreet is a state-of-the-art LED solution that is compact, stable, and lightweight, providing excellent, highly uniform lighting without disrupting the appearance and ‘look and feel’ of the space. Because it is suspended, FreeStreet makes our streets and pedestrian areas much more welcoming and accessible.
