The Philips GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 is a professional gimbal-mounted LED recessed spotlight designed for high-quality accent lighting in stores and other retail environments. Thanks to its fully adjustable gimbal design, the light can be precisely directed at products, displays, and other key areas of a store.

The current RS353B series combines Philips PerfectAccent optics with high energy efficiency, various light beams, and comprehensive lighting recipes for retail and fresh food applications. Depending on the model, DALI and wireless Interact Ready control are also available.

Gimbal-Mounted Accent Lighting for Retail

The gimbal design allows the light module to be tilted in multiple directions. This makes it easy to adjust the direction of the light when store displays, presentations, or layouts change.

As a result, the GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 is particularly well-suited for retail concepts where flexibility and high-quality product presentation are important.

Philips PerfectAccent Optics

GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 uses Philips PerfectAccent-reflector optics. This technology was developed for professional accent lighting and combines a controlled light beam with a bright, sparkling lighting experience and excellent visual comfort.

Depending on the model, light patterns such as medium beam, wide beam, and very wide beam are available, among others.

Up to 4,100 lumens

The current RS353B series includes various light outputs of approximately 2,600 to 4,100 lumens. Standard models provide a light output of up to approximately 143 lm/W.

This makes it possible to create powerful accent lighting with relatively low energy consumption.

2700 K, 3000 K, and 4000 K

For general retail applications, various color temperatures are available:

• 2700 K: warm and inviting light
• 3000 K: Warm white light for retail and product display
• 4,000 K: neutral white light for bright retail environments

In addition, Philips offers special lighting solutions for specific retail and food applications.

PremiumWhite and PremiumColor

For applications where excellent color rendering is important, models are available with PremiumWhite and PremiumColor. These models have a color rendering index (CRI) of >90 and are designed to present colors, materials, and textures in an attractive and true-to-life manner.

This makes these variants particularly well-suited for fashion, cosmetics, high-end retail, and other presentation-oriented applications, among others.

Special Lighting Designs for Food and Retail

In addition to standard color temperatures, Philips offers a variety of specialized LED light recipes within the GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 series.

• Champagne: hot presentation of food items, among other things
• Rosé: specialized warm lighting for product presentation
• Frost: bright light with a color temperature of 5000 K and a CRI >90
• PremiumColor: High color rendering for vibrant and natural product colors
• PremiumWhite: High-quality white light rendering with a CRI >90

DALI and Interact Ready

In addition to conventional on/off models, various GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 fixtures are available with DALI or wireless Interact Ready-control.

This allows accent lighting to be integrated into a professional lighting management system. Depending on the installation, fixtures can be dimmed, grouped, and controlled centrally.

Wired and Wireless Connectivity

DALI models can be used in wired lighting control systems. Wireless Interact Ready models feature a wireless driver and can be integrated with compatible Philips Interact solutions.

As a result, the GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 can be used in both new installations and renovation projects where smart lighting control is desired.

Easy to maintain and upgrade

Philips developed the GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 as a serviceable and upgradeable luminaire. The driver, LED module, and optics can be serviced or replaced using standard tools.

This can extend the useful life of the fixture and means that the entire fixture does not always have to be replaced during technical or functional upgrades.

150 mm cutout

The current RS353B models are designed for an installation opening of approximately 150 mm. Its compact design makes the GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 suitable for integration into professional retail ceilings.

White and Black

Depending on the model selected, the GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 is available in a white or black finish. This allows the fixture to be coordinated with the ceiling and the store’s architecture.

IP20 and optional front glass

The current GreenSpace Accent Cardanic Gen2 models have a protection rating of IP20. For dusty environments and areas where food is prepared, Philips recommends using the optional front glass panel.

Please note that, according to Philips, the use of a front glass panel reduces the available luminous flux by approximately 3.5%.
