The Philips CorePro LED PLL It was developed to provide an energy-efficient replacement for traditional PL-L fluorescent lamps. Thanks to the familiar 4-pin 2G11 base and the elongated PL-L shape, many existing professional light fixtures can be upgraded to LED technology.

In addition, the current product family offers various electrical configurations. This makes it possible to select the right CorePro LED PLL for luminaires equipped with an electronic high-frequency ballast, an electromagnetic ballast, or a direct mains connection.

Replacement for PL-L fluorescent lamps

The current CorePro LED PLL family includes several power classes. This makes it possible to select a suitable LED replacement for conventional PL-L lamps.

• 8W – Replaces approximately 18W PL-L
• 12W – Replaces approximately a 24W PL-L
• 16.5 W – Replaces approximately a 36W PL-L
• 24W – Replaces approximately a 55W PL-L

In addition, Signify offers newer 13W and 18W Urban models designed for direct connection to the mains.

960 to 3,400 lumens

The standard CorePro LED PLL series delivers, depending on power and color temperature, approximately 960 to 3,400 lumens. This allows the light output to be adjusted to suit various existing PL-L installations.

• 8W – 960 or 1,000 lumens
• 12W – 1,440 or 1,500 lumens
• 16.5 W – 2,000 or 2,100 lumens
• 24W – 3,200 or 3,400 lumens

The newer Urban models also deliver 1,520 to 2,300 lumens.

3000K, 4000K, and 6500K

The product family is available in various color temperatures. This allows the light color to be tailored to the professional application.

• 3000K – warm white
• 4000K – neutral white
• 6500K – cool daylight white on select HF models

Not every electric model is available in every color temperature. Therefore, the exact combination must be checked for each SKU.

2G11 4-pin lamp base

All current CorePro LED PLL models use a 2G11 4-pin lamp base. As a result, they are designed as a retrofit light source for existing PL-L fixtures.

The fitting is the same across the product line, but electrical compatibility varies by model. Therefore, not every CorePro LED PLL should be connected in the same way.

HF Models

The HF Models have been developed for use with compatible electronic high-frequency ballasts. As a result, in many cases, the existing HF electronics in the luminaire can be retained.

Always check Signify's current compatibility list before installing an HF model.

EM/Mains Voltage Versions

In addition, there are EM/Mains Voltage Versions. These are suitable for certain installations with electromagnetic ballasts and can also be used at line voltage in accordance with the installation instructions.

As a result, this version offers greater flexibility for retrofit projects.

Direct Mains Power Versions

The product family also includes models that are intended exclusively for direct connection to 220–240V AC power. With this configuration, the existing ballast is removed from the electrical circuit or bypassed.

Always have modifications to existing fixtures performed in accordance with the current Signify installation manual.

New CorePro LED Urban PLL

Signify has also introduced new products within the same family CorePro LED Urban PLL Mains-models are included. These operate directly on line voltage and feature a plastic housing with a wide 360° light distribution.

• 13W 830 – 1,520 lumens, 3,000K
• 13W 840 – 1,600 lumens, 4,000 K
• 18W 830 – 2,100 lumens, 3,000K
• 18W 840 – 2,300 lumens, 4,000K

As a result, the Urban generation represents a distinct technical variant within the same CorePro LED PLL product family.

CRI 80 or 83

Color reproduction varies slightly from one generation to the next. The newer EM/mains-power and Urban models generally have CRI 80. Signify offers various HF models with CRI 83 specified.

That's why it's a good idea to record the exact CRI for each SKU in WooCommerce.

Up to 141 lm/W

Efficiency varies by model. For example, the current 24W / 4000K model delivers 3,400 lumens and reaches approximately 141 lm/W.

As a result, energy consumption can be significantly reduced compared to traditional PL-L fluorescent lighting.

Not dimmable

The current CorePro LED PLL products are not dimmable. As a result, dimmability does not need to be offered as an option.

The current attribute Dimmable = Yes LED Goeroe can therefore be removed.

30,000 hours of service life

Signify specifies a rated lifespan of 30,000 hours. Depending on the model, 50,000 to 200,000 switching cycles are also possible.

As a result, maintenance and lamp replacement are reduced compared to conventional PL-L lamps.

3-year warranty

The following applies to the current Dutch CorePro LED PLL products: 3-year warranty period. The current 2-year warranty on LED Goeroe must therefore be adjusted.
