Philips CorePro LED Bulb – Plastic

The Philips CorePro LED Bulb – Plastic is an energy-efficient LED bulb designed for professional general lighting. The series combines a classic A60 bulb shape with a sturdy plastic housing and an E27 base. This makes it easy to replace conventional incandescent bulbs without modifying the existing fixture.

In addition, CorePro offers a variety of light outputs and color temperatures. This makes it possible to select the right LED lamp for a wide range of professional applications.

From 470 to 1,521 lumens

The current CorePro LEDbulb Plastic series includes four main luminous flux classes. This allows the light level to be matched to the existing light bulb being replaced.

• 470 lumens – approximately 40W equivalent
• 806 lumens – approximately 60W equivalent
• 1,055 lumens – approximately 75W equivalent
• 1,521 lumens – approximately 100W equivalent

As a result, the same product family offers a suitable LED replacement for various traditional power ratings.

E27 for easy retrofit

Current Dutch productions use a E27 lamp base. This allows existing bulbs to be replaced quickly without modifying the fixture.

In addition, the lights operate directly on 220–240V AC power. A separate LED driver is therefore not required.

2700K, 3000K, and 4000K

The standard, current models are available in a variety of color temperatures. This allows the light color to be tailored to the desired environment.

• 2700K – warm white
• 3000K – warm white
• 4000K – neutral white

In addition, Signify offers a modern all-in-one model with adjustable color temperatures ranging from 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K.

New 5CCT All-in Model

The current CorePro family also includes a 5CCT All-In lamp. This model combines multiple color temperatures and multiple light outputs in a single product.

Users can choose between 470, 806, 1055, or 1521 lumens. In addition, five color temperatures are available. This allows a single lamp to replace multiple traditional CorePro models.

CRI 80 and select CRI 90 models

Most CorePro LEDbulb Plastic models have a color rendering index of CRI 80. This makes them suitable for general professional lighting.

In addition, Signify is conducting several CRI 90-versions. For example, there is currently a 470-lumen / 3000K version and a 1521-lumen / 4000K version with a CRI of 90. This means that even within the CorePro series, users can opt for higher color rendering.

Up to approximately 121 lm/W

Efficiency varies by model. The standard series ranges from approximately 95 lm/W at 470 lumens to about 117 lm/W for the 1521-lumen models.

A current CRI 90 model even reaches approximately 121 lm/W. As a result, CorePro combines low energy consumption with good light output.

Plastic A60 Housing

Unlike the CorePro LEDbulb – Glass, this product family uses a plastic lamp housing. This makes the lamp durable and suitable for simple professional retrofit applications.

The standard versions use the familiar A60 shape. This allows them to fit into many existing E27 light fixtures.

Dimmability varies by model

Most standard, current CorePro LEDbulb Plastic models are not dimmable. Therefore, always check the selected option when dimmability is required.

According to Signify, the new 5CCT All-in model can only be dimmed using specific, compatible dimmers. Therefore, compatibility must be checked in advance in this case as well.

Up to 15,000 hours of service life

Most current models have a rated service life of 15,000 hours and are designed for up to 50,000 switching cycles. As a result, these lamps need to be replaced less often than conventional light sources.
