Philips CorePro LEDspot MV – GU10
The Philips CorePro LEDspot MV – GU10 is an energy-efficient LED spotlight designed to replace traditional GU10 halogen bulbs. The series combines easy retrofitting with a variety of light outputs, color temperatures, and dimmable or non-dimmable options.
This makes it possible to select a suitable LED spotlight from within the same CorePro family for various professional lighting projects.
GU10 PAR16 for easy retrofit
All current models use a GU10 lamp base and have the well-known PAR16 shape. As a result, the spotlights fit into many existing GU10 fixtures.
In addition, the lamps operate directly on line voltage. This eliminates the need for a separate low-voltage transformer.
Replaces 25W to 65W halogen bulbs
The current CorePro series includes various power ratings. This allows the light output to be matched to that of the original halogen bulb.
- 25W equivalent – 215 to 230 lumens
- 35W equivalent – 230 to 275 lumens
- 50W equivalent – 345 to 390 lumens
- 65W equivalent – 460 to 485 lumens
The actual power consumption is only 2.7 to 4.9 W. This significantly reduces energy consumption.
2700K, 3000K, and 4000K
The current product family is available in three color temperatures. This allows the light color to be tailored to the application.
- 2700K – extra warm white
- 3000K – warm white
- 4000K – neutral white
The 6500K models previously offered are no longer part of Signify's current Dutch product line.
CRI 80
The current CorePro LEDspot MV models have a color rendering index of CRI 80. This makes them suitable for general professional spot and accent lighting.
When higher color accuracy is required, the Philips MASTER ExpertColor series is a better choice.
36° beam angle
The current CorePro GU10 spotlights use a beam angle of 36 degrees. This creates a focused yet sufficiently wide beam for general accent lighting.
This allows objects, products, and specific areas to be effectively highlighted.
Dimmable and non-dimmable versions
Within the current family, there are both dimmable if non-dimmable versions available. The dimmable versions are available in 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K, among others.
If using a dimmable version, always use a compatible LED dimmer. This will prevent flickering and ensure a full dimming range.
Up to 98 lm/W
Efficiency varies by model. For example, the latest 65W-equivalent 4000K model delivers 485 lumens at 4.9W, or about 98 lm/W.
As a result, the series offers significantly lower energy consumption than traditional halogen spotlights.
15,000 hours of service life
Signify specifies a rated service life of 15,000 hours. As a result, the light source needs to be replaced less often than with traditional halogen lighting.
In addition, the inspected, current models are covered by a warranty period of 2 years.
