Philips CoreLine Downlight Gen 5 DN142B for professional indoor lighting
The Philips CoreLine Downlight Gen 5 DN142B is an energy-efficient LED recessed downlight for professional indoor lighting. The fifth-generation CoreLine Downlight combines high efficiency with comfortable light, easy installation, and a variety of lighting control options.
With versions designed for 150- and 200-mm cutouts, the DN142B is suitable for both new lighting projects and the renovation of existing downlight installations.
Up to 120 lm/W efficiency
Depending on the model, the CoreLine Downlight Gen 5 achieves a luminous efficacy of up to 120 lumens per watt. This allows for high light output with relatively low energy consumption.
The series is available with different light outputs to suit a variety of professional spaces and lighting levels.
UGR19 for high visual comfort
For applications where glare control is important, models with a faceted UGR19 reflector are available. These variants are particularly well-suited for workspaces, conference rooms, and other areas where comfortable lighting is desired over long periods of time.
In addition, models with a white reflector and UGR25 are available for general indoor lighting.
3,000 K and 4,000 K
The DN142B is available in two color temperatures: 3000 K warm white and 4000 K neutral white. This allows the light color to be tailored to the function and ambiance of the space.
The light fixtures have a color rendering index (CRI) of >80.
DALI and Interact Ready
In addition to conventional on/off versions, the CoreLine Downlight Gen 5 is available with DALI control. Wireless Interact Ready versions are also available for smart lighting projects.
As a result, the downlight can be used in both simple installations and advanced lighting control systems for commercial buildings.
IP54 models available
Various DN142B models come standard with IP20 protection. In addition, variants with IP20/54 protection are available, in which the visible side provides protection against dust accumulation and splashing water.

Suitable for emergency lighting
Within this product family, models are available that can be combined with a compatible emergency lighting kit. In addition, variants are available with integrated emergency lighting that provides up to three hours of operation.

The CoreLine Downlight Gen 5 is designed for long-term professional use. Signify specifies a median useful life of 50,000 hours with L80 lumen maintenance.
The current DN142B models come with a 5-year warranty.
