Philips CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B
The Philips CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B is a professional, ultra-flat LED downlight for general indoor lighting. Thanks to its shallow mounting depth, the fixture is particularly well-suited for ceilings where installation space is limited.
The current CoreLine SlimDownlight series features Philips All-in MultiColorTemp technology, which allows for both 3000 K and 4000 K to be available in the same fixture. Depending on the model, you can choose between conventional on/off control, DALI, or wireless Interact Ready control.
Extra-flat LED downlight
A key advantage of the CoreLine SlimDownlight is its very shallow installation depth. The recessed version has a total height of approximately 34 mm, allowing this downlight to be installed in ceilings where there is insufficient space for traditional fixtures.
The diffused light surface ensures even and comfortable light distribution and gives the ceiling a serene appearance.
All-in with 3000 K and 4000 K
The current Philips CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B features MultiColorTemp. This allows you to select two color temperatures in the same fixture:
- 3000 K: warm white light for reception areas, stores, and hospitality venues, among others
- 4,000 K: neutral white light for hallways, common areas, and other functional spaces
This allows the final light color to be adjusted to the room during installation and reduces the need for separate product variants.
Various light outputs and dimensions
The current CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B All-in series includes various sizes and light outputs. The compact D70 model delivers approximately 680 to 700 lumens, the D155 model approximately 1,080 to 1,150 lumens, and the larger D205 model approximately 2,000 to 2,100 lumens.
This allows the same product family to be used in both smaller traffic areas and larger general indoor spaces.
Up to 120 lm/W
The current CoreLine SlimDownlight offers a luminous efficacy of up to approximately 120 lm/W, depending on the model and selected color temperature. This combines high light output with relatively low energy consumption.
This makes the DN145B an efficient replacement for older downlights that use conventional fluorescent technology.
Wide and even light distribution
The current DN145B models feature a symmetrical light distribution with a beam angle of approximately 90 degrees. The diffuse shield provides an even light pattern without the strong accent effect of a narrow spot.
As a result, the CoreLine SlimDownlight is particularly well-suited for general lighting in hallways, entryways, stores, and other passageways and common areas.
DALI and Interact Ready
In addition to standard on/off versions, the Philips CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B is available with DALI and as a wireless Interact Ready-version.
DALI models can be integrated into a wired lighting control system. The Interact Ready versions feature a wireless driver and can be used with compatible Philips Interact gateways, sensors, and software.
IP44 on the visible side
The current DN145B models have an IP20 protection rating, with the visible side of the recessed fixture IP44 has been implemented. This protects the front from splashes when the fixture is installed correctly.
In addition, the current models have IK03 impact resistance and a safety class of II.
Emergency lighting available
The current CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B is designed for use with compatible emergency lighting accessories. This allows for the addition of self-contained emergency lighting to suitable projects without having to use an entirely different family of luminaires.
Easy installation
Philips has developed the CoreLine SlimDownlight for quick installation. The series uses plug-in connectors, and its shallow mounting depth simplifies installation in ceilings with limited clearance.
Depending on the model, various connection options are available for standard, DALI, and wireless installations.
Applications of CoreLine SlimDownlight
The Philips CoreLine SlimDownlight DN145B is suitable for professional general lighting in locations such as hallways, stores, reception areas, restrooms, utility rooms, and other high-traffic and indoor spaces.
