Six different fixture shapes

TownGuide Performer is available in six distinctive designs: Flat Cone, Bowl, Classic Cone, Classic T, T, and Tzero. This allows the fixture to blend into both modern and more traditionally designed urban environments.

Several finishes are available for the light dome on the various models. Depending on the version, you can choose between clear, translucent, or matte polycarbonate. This allows you to further tailor the lighting performance, appearance, and visual comfort to the project.

2700 K, 3000 K, and 4000 K

Signify TownGuide Performer is available in various color temperatures, including 2700 K, 3000 K, and 4000 K. This allows the atmosphere and appearance of the public space to be tailored to its surroundings.

For example, warmer color temperatures are suitable for prestigious inner-city areas and parks, while more neutral white light can be used where functionality and visibility are more important.

TownGuide Performer offers a variety of application-specific light distributions. The product family includes, among others, narrow, medium-width, wide, extra-wide, and symmetrical optics available.

This allows the light to be directed specifically at areas such as bike paths, sidewalks, plazas, parking lots, shopping districts, and other public spaces. The right optics help ensure good uniformity and limit unnecessary light spill outside the desired area.

Three Types of Light Covers

Depending on the TownGuide Performer model selected, the fixture can be equipped with various polycarbonate lens covers:

• Mat – for a softer and more even appearance
• Translucent – for added visual comfort

This allows not only the technical light distribution but also the visual character of the fixture to be tailored to the surroundings.

Dimming and Smart Lighting Control

TownGuide Performer supports a variety of options for energy-saving lighting control. Depending on the model, solutions are available such as LumiStep, DynaDimmer, LineSwitch, Constant Light Output, and DALI.

This allows the lighting level to be reduced, for example, during quiet nighttime hours. Suitable configurations can also be integrated into a centrally managed public lighting system.

Up to 100,000 hours of service life

Depending on the configuration and light color, TownGuide Performer offers a specified service life of up to 100,000 operating hours. Combined with efficient LED technology and programmable lighting controls, this can significantly reduce the energy and maintenance costs of public lighting.

Signify states that, compared to conventional solutions such as HPL, SON-T, and PL-L lighting, energy savings of up to approximately 80% are possible when LED technology is combined with appropriate dimming and CLO controls.

Easy installation and maintenance

TownGuide Performer is designed for efficient installation. The special connection in the mast mount allows the fixture to be installed without having to open the entire fixture housing.

In addition, the Signify Service Tag installers and administrators during installation and maintenance by providing direct access to relevant product and configuration data.

Durable for professional outdoor use

Current TownGuide Performer models feature IP66-protection against dust and water, and are available with high mechanical impact resistance up to IK10. This makes the series suitable for long-term use in demanding outdoor public environments.
