Philips CorePro LED Spot Reflectors
The Philips CorePro LED Spot Reflectors have been developed as affordable LED replacements for conventional reflector and halogen lamps. The current series consists of R50, R63, and R80 reflector lamps with E14 or E27 bases. This makes it easy to retrofit many existing professional fixtures with energy-efficient LED technology.
In addition, all current models produce warm white light at 2700K. This preserves the familiar warm lighting experience of traditional reflector lighting.
R50, R63, and R80
The current CorePro series includes three reflector sizes. This allows you to choose the right lamp based on the existing fixture and the required light output.
- R50 – compact reflector with an E14 base
- R63 – medium-sized reflector with an E27 lamp base
- R80 – larger reflector with an E27 lamp base
As a result, the product family is compatible with a wide range of existing reflector fixtures.
210 to 670 lumens
The current models provide a luminous flux of 210 to 670 lumens. This makes it easy to replace various traditional asset classes.
- 210 lumens – approximately 40W equivalent
- 320 lumens – approximately 60W equivalent
- 345 lumens – approximately 60W equivalent
- 670 lumens – approximately 100W equivalent
The power consumption is only 2.8 to 8 W. This results in significant energy savings.
2700K warm white light
All current CorePro LED spot reflectors have a color temperature of 2700K. This produces a warm white light that closely resembles that of traditional halogen and incandescent bulbs.
In addition, the lamps do not emit any UV or IR radiation. This makes them suitable for professional accent lighting and general reflector lighting.
CRI 80
The current product family has a color gamut of CRI 80. As a result, the series is suitable for general professional applications where reliable color reproduction is desired.
For applications that require very high color rendering, the MASTER ExpertColor series may be a better choice.
36° beam angle
The current variants use a beam angle of 36 degrees. This creates a focused, but not extremely narrow, beam of light.
This allows objects, products, and areas to be effectively highlighted without creating a very narrow spotlight.
E14 and E27 retrofits
The R50 models use a E14 lamp base. The current R63 and R80 models use a E27 lamp base.
As a result, existing reflector fixtures can often be fitted directly with a CorePro LED lamp. A separate LED driver is not required, as the lamps operate directly on 220–240V.
Dimmable and non-dimmable versions
Both dimmable and non-dimmable versions are available in the current product line. The dimmable versions can be identified by the label D, while non-dimmable versions such as ND are referred to as.
In addition, dimmable models may only be used with suitable, compatible dimmers. Therefore, always check the selected model and dimmer before installing them in a dimmable system.
15,000 hours of service life
Signify specifies a rated service life of 15,000 hours. As a result, the bulbs need to be replaced much less often than traditional reflector or halogen bulbs.
In addition, the inspected, current models are covered by a warranty period of 2 years.
