Philips CoreLine Tempo Medium BVP125 LED Floodlight

The Philips CoreLine Tempo Medium BVP125 is a powerful professional LED floodlight designed for sports, off-road, and general outdoor lighting. The series combines high light output with efficient LED technology, rugged protection, and various light distributions.

CoreLine Tempo Medium was developed as a direct replacement for conventional HID floodlights. This often allows existing installations to be modernized while retaining the poles and a large portion of the electrical infrastructure.

8,000, 12,000, and 16,000 lumens

The current BVP125 series offers three main luminous flux levels: 8,000, 12,000, and 16,000 lumens. This allows the light output to be adjusted according to the mounting height, surface area, and desired illuminance.

The 8,000-lumen model offers an energy-efficient solution for smaller areas and zones. For larger areas, 12,000- and 16,000-lumen models are also available.

Up to approximately 148 lm/W

The new CoreLine Tempo Medium models offer higher efficiency than previous generations. For example, a current symmetrical model delivers 8,000 lumens at just 57 W, accounting for approximately 148 lm/W.

Current 12,000-lumen models consume approximately 90 W, while new 16,000-lumen models consume approximately 117 W. In this way, the series combines high light output with energy efficiency.

Symmetrical and Asymmetrical Optics

CoreLine Tempo Medium is available with both both symmetric and asymmetric light distributions. This allows the lighting to be precisely adjusted to the terrain and the position of the fixture.

An asymmetrical optical system directs the light further across a surface and is therefore suitable for use in parking lots and industrial sites, for example. A symmetrical optical system distributes the light more evenly around the central beam.

3,000 K and 4,000 K

The current series includes models in 3,000 K and 4,000 K. This allows the color temperature to be adjusted to suit the environment and the requirements of the lighting project.

4000 K provides a neutral white light for functional area lighting. A 3000 K version, on the other hand, provides a warmer light when a less cool appearance is desired.

Suitable for renovation

Philips developed CoreLine Tempo Medium for a simple "lux-for-lux" replacement of conventional lighting. Among other things, the series can replace conventional 100 W and 150 W HID solutions.

As a result, the BVP125 is particularly well-suited for renovation projects in which existing poles and electrical infrastructure must be preserved as much as possible.

DALI and connected options

In addition to standard on/off models, Signify offers project-specific options for DALI control. This allows the lighting to be integrated with professional lighting control systems.

In addition, configurations are available with a SystemReady connection for asset management and wireless lighting control, including integration with Interact solutions.

IP66 and IK08

CoreLine Tempo Medium offers IP66 protection dust- and high-pressure water-resistant. In addition, the fixture has an impact resistance of IK08.

Its sturdy aluminum construction makes the BVP125 suitable for long-term professional outdoor use.

Surge Protection

Current models offer standard protection against voltage spikes up to 6 kV differential and 8 kV common-mode. This helps protect electronic components from malfunctions in professional outdoor installations.

Easy installation

The universal U-shaped mounting bracket makes it easy to install the floodlight and aim it precisely. In addition, current models feature a pre-wired cable and an external quick-connect connector.

As a result, CoreLine Tempo Medium can be efficiently installed in both new construction projects and renovations.
