Philips GameVision BVP440 LED Floodlight for Sports Fields

The Philips GameVision BVP440 is a powerful LED floodlight designed for professional and recreational sports lighting. Signify developed GameVision as a simple, one-to-one replacement for conventional floodlight systems on soccer fields and hockey fields, among others.

The series combines very high light output with efficient LED technology and controlled asymmetric light distributions. This makes it possible to modernize an existing sports facility without having to completely redesign the lighting concept.

Up to approximately 143,000 lumens

The current Dutch GameVision series offers two main brightness levels. A current model provides 110,769 lumens at 736 W, while the most powerful configurations cost about 142,000 to 143,000 lumens deliver.

As a result, GameVision provides sufficient light output for large sports fields and other professional outdoor sports facilities.

Up to 150 lm/W

The most efficient current BVP440 model achieves a light output of 150 lm/W. This model produces 110,769 lumens at a power consumption of 736 W.

The more powerful models, rated at around 1,000 W, deliver approximately 142 to 145 lm/W, depending on the configuration. As a result, GameVision combines high light output with significantly lower energy consumption than traditional HID sports field lighting.

Wide and narrow asymmetric light distributions

GameVision is available with various light distribution patterns for sports fields. Signify offers, among other options, wide and narrow asymmetric beams.

This allows the light to be distributed evenly across the playing field. As a result, the available light is used effectively, and unnecessary light spill outside the sports field is minimized.

Less glare and scattered light

A key design goal of GameVision is to minimize distracting light outside the playing field. The special housing and optics reduce the direct visibility of the light source from the surrounding area.

This improves visual comfort for players and nearby residents. At the same time, a low upward light ratio helps limit unnecessary light pollution toward the night sky.

4,000 K and 5,700 K

The current Dutch product line includes models in, among others, 4,000 K and 5700 K. Both configurations use a color scheme of CRI 70.

This allows the light color to be tailored to the requirements of the sports project and the desired lighting effect on the playing field.

DALI and Interact Ready

Current GameVision models are available with a DALI driver. This allows the spotlights to be integrated into professional lighting control systems.

In addition, there are various configurations Interact Ready. This allows the lighting to be controlled centrally and, for example, different light levels to be set for games, practices, and other occasions.

1-to-1 replacement of conventional sports lighting

GameVision was specifically developed for the renovation of existing sports field installations. Its weight and wind-resistant surface area are compatible with the conventional Philips OptiVision HID MVP507.

As a result, GameVision can be used in many renovation projects without having to completely redesign existing pole structures. This simplifies the transition to LED and minimizes the need for modifications to the existing infrastructure.

IP66 and IK08

The rugged aluminum housing offers IP66 protection dust-proof and resistant to powerful water jets. In addition, GameVision has an impact resistance of IK08.

As a result, the floodlight is suitable for long-term professional outdoor use in a variety of weather conditions.

10 kV surge protection

Current BVP440 models offer surge protection up to 10 kV in both differential and common-mode configurations.

This protection helps safeguard electronic components against voltage spikes in large professional outdoor installations.

Maintainable Design

The LED module and driver can be replaced by a service technician. In addition, GameVision offers the Philips Service Tag, which makes product data and maintenance information readily available.

The current product configurations come with 5-year warranty.
