Signify ClassicStreet – Classic Urban LED Fixture

Signify ClassicStreet – a classic look with modern LED technology

The Signify ClassicStreet is an urban LED luminaire that combines the distinctive look of traditional streetlights with modern lighting technology. Its subtly curved design makes ClassicStreet particularly well-suited for historic city centers and distinctive public spaces, while also fitting seamlessly into modern urban projects.

Thanks to efficient LED technology, application-specific optics, and intelligent lighting control capabilities, ClassicStreet offers a professional solution for municipalities, public authorities, project developers, and other professional clients.

Inspired by classic street lighting

The ClassicStreet design draws inspiration from traditional 20th-century streetlights. Signify has reinterpreted this recognizable shape and combined it with modern materials and LED technology.

This allows the fixture to be used in locations where the appearance of public lighting is an integral part of the area’s identity. Examples include historic city centers, historic districts, squares, promenades, and other prominent public spaces.

Professional LED Technology for Streets and Public Spaces

ClassicStreet is built around modern LED technology and application-specific optics. This allows the light to be precisely tailored to different street profiles, pedestrian areas, and public spaces.

Depending on the model selected, options include symmetrical, medium-width, and wide light distributions. This allows the fixture to be used on roadways and city streets as well as in plazas, on bike paths, and on sidewalks.

Comfortable and targeted light distribution

Proper light distribution is important for ensuring adequate visibility and visual comfort without unnecessarily spreading light outside the desired area. The various ClassicStreet optics make it possible to tailor the lighting to the specific geometry of a project.

Configurations are also available that are designed to limit unwanted upward light. This allows ClassicStreet to be used in projects where minimizing light pollution and preserving a dark nighttime environment are important.

Mast-top and suspended versions

ClassicStreet can be integrated into the streetscape in various ways. The product family includes both mast-top fixtures if pending versions.

In addition, Signify offers specially designed ClassicStreet poles and brackets. These allow you to create a complete lighting concept in which the luminaire, pole, and bracket are visually coordinated.

SystemReady for Smart Public Lighting

ClassicStreet can be equipped with a SystemReady connection. This allows the fixture to be combined with compatible sensors, controllers, and other components for smart street lighting.

Among other things, SystemReady makes it possible to integrate ClassicStreet with Interact by Signify. This allows for the centralized management, monitoring, and control of lighting fixtures, and enables lighting to be dimmed based on factors such as the time of day or usage.

Service Tag for Easier Maintenance

ClassicStreet is equipped with the Signify Service Tag. Using the luminaire’s unique identifier, relevant configuration, installation, and maintenance data can be accessed digitally.

This supports professional management throughout the system's lifecycle and makes it easier to locate the correct parts and configuration data during maintenance or replacement.

Durable for long-term outdoor use

The ClassicStreet series was developed for permanent use in public spaces. Current models are equipped with IP66-protection against dust and high-pressure water jets, and, depending on the optical shielding selected, offer high mechanical impact resistance.

Power, luminous flux, color temperature, optics, and driver configuration vary by model. This allows ClassicStreet to be precisely customized to meet the requirements of a specific lighting project.
