Philips EM160T Emergency Lighting Track Spot – emergency lighting for a power track
The Philips Emergency Lighting Track Spot EM160T offers a flexible solution for standalone emergency lighting in stores and other retail environments. The compact fixture is mounted directly onto a compatible 3-phase power rail and can therefore be easily integrated into existing track lighting systems.
The EM160T delivers 250 lumens during emergency operation and provides 3 hours of runtime. Its wide 105-degree beam effectively illuminates open spaces and traffic areas when normal lighting fails.
3 hours of autonomous emergency lighting
In the event of a power outage, the EM160T will continue to operate for up to 3 hours. The fixture was designed as a standalone emergency lighting solution and complies with the relevant European requirements for emergency lighting fixtures.
Installation on a 3-phase power rail
The EM160T is equipped with a 3-circuit rail adapter for compatible XTS and XTSF power rails. This allows the emergency spotlight to be integrated into an existing rail system without the need for a separate surface-mounted fixture.
This makes the rail spot particularly appealing for stores, showrooms, and other commercial spaces where power rails are already used for standard lighting.
250 lumens with a wide beam
The emergency spotlight provides 250 lumens and has a wide beam angle of 105 degrees. This allows the fixture to illuminate a relatively large area, making it suitable for open spaces and pathways where adequate orientation lighting is necessary during a power outage.
LiFePO4 battery technology
Philips uses a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4). This battery technology offers a long service life, low self-discharge, and good temperature resistance. In addition, the battery can be recycled at the end of its service life.
Enforced or not enforced
The EM160T supports both maintained and non-maintained emergency lighting. This allows its operation to be tailored to the chosen emergency lighting concept and the building's requirements.
Manual test or automatic self-test
Depending on the configuration, the emergency lighting can be tested manually or use an automatic self-test function. This allows for more efficient periodic inspection of the emergency lighting.
Available in white and black
The Philips EM160T is available with a white housing in RAL 9003 and a black housing in RAL 9004. This allows the emergency lighting to be visually matched to the color of the existing power rail and other rail fixtures.
