The Philips Surface-Mounted Downlight for Emergency Lighting EM152C was developed to provide reliable emergency lighting in commercial buildings. The compact surface-mount fixture combines a light output of 273 lumens with a low power consumption of just 2 watts and provides emergency lighting for 3 hours in the event of a power outage.
Thanks to its surface-mount design, the EM152C is particularly well-suited for locations where a recessed fixture is not possible or desirable. The downlight comes with two interchangeable optics, allowing the light distribution to be tailored to hallways or open spaces.

The fixture comes with two interchangeable lens optics. This allows the same downlight to be used with either a light distribution pattern suitable for a hallway or an optic suitable for an open space. This provides additional flexibility when designing and installing an emergency lighting system.
